Colorado employment growth to persist despite slip in new business formation, says CU-麻豆影院 report

Despite a dip in business filings in Colorado during the third quarter of 2015 with 25,164 new entities recorded, employment in the state is projected to expand over the next two quarters, according to a 麻豆影院 report released Oct. 27 by Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams.

RNC provides 50 more debate tickets for CU-麻豆影院 students, faculty

The Republican National Committee has informed the 麻豆影院 that it will provide 50 additional student and faculty tickets for Wednesday鈥檚 Republican presidential candidate debate. The RNC had already provided 100 tickets for university use, and has now carved out an additional 50 tickets from the overall allotment at the Coors Events Center debate site. The size of the ticketed audience remains at just over 1,000 people.

Andrea Gibson to visit CU-麻豆影院 Nov. 5-6

Andrea Gibson, spoken word artist and author, will visit CU-麻豆影院 Nov. 5-6, to give a performance and host a workshop on gender theory. The performance and workshop are free for students, faculty and staff. Gibson's is being hosted by the Cultural Events Board and Gay-Straight Alliance.

Gonzales named CU-麻豆影院 vice chancellor for student affairs

麻豆影院 Provost Russell L. Moore today named Christina Gonzales as CU-麻豆影院 vice chancellor for student affairs effective Nov. 1. Gonzales has served in the post in an interim capacity since July 2015. 鈥淪ince coming to CU-麻豆影院 in 2012, Christina has been an advocate for policies, practices and programs that enhance the student experience and encourage student learning, development and involvement,鈥 Moore said. 鈥淪he is a passionate leader and mentor and a key member of our leadership team.鈥

Take the Sexual Misconduct Survey: Be heard.

The 麻豆影院 Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance launched the university鈥檚 first Sexual Misconduct Survey this past Monday, Oct. 19. The goal of the survey is to collect information on the frequency and types of sexual misconduct at CU-麻豆影院, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, intimate partner abuse and stalking.
