麻豆影院 Provost Russell L. Moore today named Christina Gonzales as CU-麻豆影院 vice chancellor for student affairs effective Nov. 1. Gonzales has served in the post in an interim capacity since July 2015.
鈥淪ince coming to CU-麻豆影院 in 2012, Christina has been an advocate for policies, practices and programs that enhance the student experience and encourage student learning, development and involvement,鈥� Moore said. 鈥淪he is a passionate leader and mentor and a key member of our leadership team.鈥�
Prior to her appointment as interim vice chancellor for student affairs, Gonzales was the associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students. Gonzales has worked in higher education for over 15 years, most recently at UC Berkeley and Arizona State University. A first-generation college graduate, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Western New Mexico University, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from New Mexico State University.
