This month, registration deadlines are approaching for two University of Colorado conferences, nominations are due for the Chancellor's Employee of the Year and the Summer Research FRPA deadline is around the corner.

Visiting Kurdish delegation to receive Iraqi secret police documents from CU-麻豆影院 human rights archive

A Kurdish delegation will visit the 麻豆影院 campus Sept. 29 and 30 to deliver a public talk on the political situation in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and receive an electronic copy of important documents captured by Kurdish rebels in 1991 but removed from Iraq for safekeeping and analysis.

But does this mean that inexpensive watches made by low-cost rivals must always be low quality? According to a new study in the Journal of Consumer Research , consumers mistakenly predict product quality based on quality consistency in other price ranges.

CU-麻豆影院 expands assistance to hundreds of low-income students through CU Promise

The 麻豆影院 greatly expanded its CU Promise program for low-income students this fall resulting in funding assistance becoming available for more than 700 additional students. The CU Promise program guarantees that CU-麻豆影院 students with Colorado resident status from low-income families can receive enough grants and work-study employment to pay for their share of tuition, fees and estimated book expenses.

Off-Campus Housing launches 'Walk This Way' pilot program on the Hill

CU-麻豆影院's Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations office has recently begun a new pilot program called 鈥淲alk This Way." T he program, which began Sept. 5 and is being held from 10 p.m. 鈥 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights in September at the intersection of 10th and College on the Hill, is meant to inform visitors and residents of the Hill about noise and its impacts, and to help direct foot traffic to primary walking corridors.

CU-麻豆影院 freshman class sets record for academic qualifications and diversity

The 麻豆影院 welcomed a freshman class of 5,869 students, a slight increase by 0.4 percent over last year, and in the process achieved the most academically qualified and diverse incoming class in the campus鈥檚 history. Fall 2014 census figures show a total enrollment of 29,772 degree- and licensure-seeking students, 447 students more than last year. A total of 3,083 Colorado residents enrolled as new freshmen in the fall class, as well as 2,786 from out of state and a record 386 freshman international students, a 41 percent increase from last year.
