A revolutionary Â鶹ӰԺ toilet fueled by the sun that is being developed to help some of the 2.5 billion people around the world lacking safe and sustainable sanitation will be unveiled in India this month.

Wardenburg Health Center is now offering free basic nutrition consultations in the wellness suite at the CU Recreation Center on Wednesdays from 2-6 p.m.

Graduate programs across the University of Colorado system again are lauded for excellence in the latest annual rankings from U.S. News & World Report. Research and teaching contributions by the four campuses in health care, engineering, law, education and business hold numerous spots in the 2015 edition of Best Graduate Schools (U.S. News Media Group).

The Orion Nebula is home to hundreds of young stars and even younger protostars known as proplyds. Many of these nascent systems will go on to develop planets, while others will have their planet-forming dust and gas blasted away by the fierce ultraviolet radiation emitted by massive O-type stars that lurk nearby.

The Office of the Provost is issuing a call for proposals for a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to be run on the Coursera platform in Fall 2014. We seek proposals to add one additional MOOC to the Â鶹ӰԺ portfolio, proposals are welcome from current CU-Â鶹ӰԺ faculty with tenure, instructors or faculty/graduate student teams.

Two things set the Â鶹ӰԺ's Public Achievement program apart from other service learning and civic engagement initiatives: mentorship and empowerment.

CU-Â鶹ӰԺ took a personnel action against an employee on Tuesday, March 4, without incident. Police assisted with the personnel action as a routine procedure. The university cannot provide or confirm details on the individual who was the subject of the personnel action, or on the reasons for the personnel action, due to employee confidentiality. At this time, the university does not believe that there is a threat to students or the general campus.
