03/10/2023 Three brand-new high-speed Avanti JXN-26 centrifuges installed and ready to go!
They are here!! Three brand-new, high-speed Avanti JXN-26 floor centrifuges are freshly installed and ready to go. They will replace two old Beckman J2 centrifuges and a Sorcall RC-5C plus. All of them are over 25 years old. They served us well and have earned their retirement! We have new rotors to go with the new centrifuges as well. Rotor models we have are JLA 12.500 (2x), JLA 16.250, and JA30.50 Ti. We are hoping to get more rotors soon. The acquisition of the centrifuges and rotors was made possible by an NIH R24 grant ( 1 R24 OD033699-01 ). Please cite the award if you use one of the centrifuges or rotors.
