AUDIO LAB TRAINING

Want to get trained on how to use Cinema Studies' sound studio? Sign up on Cheqroom for the next training session!Ìý Students will learn the use and care of the CSMIA audio recording suite in ATLAS. Completing the training will allow you to reserve the room and equipment for specific uses, such as quiet room dry recording, multi-tracking, ADR, and Foley.

Trainings will cover using the sound room for recording as a team of 2 people (1 recording artist & 1 sound engineer). Coordination with a collaborator in groups of 2 students is mandatory for 3000 level courses. 4000 level students and above may get training on running the recording facility alone only after they have been through the training course for teams of 2 people.

Training is limited to 3000 level production courses and above (CINE 3515, 3525, 3400, 3620 3700, 4000, 4400, etc.). You will NOT be able to sign up as a student in a lower division production course (below CINE 3000).

RSVP for Audio Lab Training
