Today, the Â鶹ӰԺ welcomes more than 6,000 new students to our campus. During this morning's Convocation, I reminded our newest community members that if universities are about anything, they are about stoking the fires of a deeper, boundless curiosity within each of us. Aug. 21, 2015 Brian Lewandowski A new CU-Â鶹ӰԺ study on oil and natural gas production in Colorado shows that low prices combined with other factors is having a negative impact on the industry, says Brian Lewandowski, associate director of the Business Research Division at the Leeds School of Business. He says the number of drilling rigs has dropped by half since last year, resulting in less oil and natural gas production.

Colorado will record a decrease in oil and gas production in 2015 -- the domino-like result of declines across the industry, according to a new study.
