Finding a home, and a purpose, on campus

On her way to class, amid a crowd of other students, Zurisadai Juarez-Delgado felt alone. She believed her experiences were so different from most other students that she became withdrawn, thinking no one could possibly relate to her. But Juarez-Delgado found a place where she could feel at home on campus, the inclusive community of the Education Diversity Scholars program at CU 麻豆影院. As a result, she has discovered a career path that is changing the trajectory of her life.

Football, parade, pep rally highlight Homecoming 2016

Highlights of CU 麻豆影院's 102nd Homecoming include the football team and marching band 鈥渟tampeding鈥 along Pearl Street as part of the Homecoming Parade and Football Pep Rally Friday evening. Other traditions include the Alumni Awards Ceremony Thursday and, of course, this year鈥檚 Homecoming football game vs. Arizona State University on Saturday.

College more than just a dream for Western Slope students

With support from CU 麻豆影院, two programs on the Western Slope of Colorado are preparing first-generation middle and high school students for college, providing them mentorship, academic skills and other tools to help them graduate from high school and enroll in college.

A CU 麻豆影院 team will address Latino community involvement in green economies, which aim to reduce environmental impact and emphasize sustainable development, at the RISE Colorado Latino Business Conference in Longmont on Friday, Oct. 14. The event is free and open to the public.
