Design Center Colorado (DCC) leads the way in providingÌýengineering design education to mechanical engineering undergraduate and graduate students in collaboration with industry and government agency sponsors. Through innovative curriculum, hands-on learning, state-of-the-art design facilities, and real-world project experiences for students, DCC boasts evidence-based methods for transitioning students successfully into the workplace.Ìý
DCC manages mechanical engineering active learning spaces and fabrication facilitiesÌýthat make the advanced design and entrepreneurialÌýwork ourÌýstudents are known for possible. These facilities includeÌýthe Chevron Design Studio, Graduate Design Studio, the Drop-In Design Lab (DIDL), the machine shop, design conference rooms and material testing equipment.Ìý
In addition to design education and facilities, DCC providesÌýfinancial support for annual Senior Design and Capstone Design projects, mentorship for students and coordination of Senior Design and Capstone Design project sponsors. DCC repeatedly attracts students from all over the globe in addition to sponsors ranging from start-ups to industrial conglomerates.
