NANOG Conference Recognition

Founded in 1994, the Ìý(NANOG) is a community-driven organization composed of representatives from companies that manage, administer, and build the networks that collectively form the Internet.Ìý

The Network Engineering master’s program at CU Â鶹ӰԺ was the first university program invited to attend NANOG, in 2013.Ìý

Network engineers from prominent Internet companies such as Netflix, Google, Facebook, and Amazon frequently attend NANOG’s biannual conference to share and discuss new technologies and best practices that can improve the overall functionality of the Internet.

Network Engineering program faculty regularly participate and present at NANOG conferences. Since 2013,Ìýsome of our students have been awarded expense-paid trips to every NANOG conference and hackathons. Professors Levi PerigoÌýor Jose Santos travel with and advise the team during the hackathons, which have had great success in these industry competitions.
