The undergraduate computer science program incorporates fundamental courses with unique electives to provide a robust and personalized education. With a broad range of available focus areas, we prepare you for a breadth of careers.

Starting your first year, you'll join an engaged community and collaborate with peers to build your foundational knowledge in mathematics and data structures. As seniors, Bachelor of Science students will complete a year-long capstone project that allows you to put into practice what you’ve learned and make important professional connections. Bachelor of Arts students have the option to complete capstone courses as well. At CU Engineering, you'll also have opportunities to pursue mentoring, research, internships and professional development through student clubs, events and much more.

The Bachelor of Arts program emphasizes the use of computing for applications such as scientific discovery, natural language processing or web design. It also allows for more flexibility for those looking to pursue double majors, minors or certificate programs.

The Bachelor of Science program emphasizes knowledge and awareness of computing at all levels, from computer architecture and theory through large-scale software production.

The Accelerated Masters degree programs offers you the opportunity to receive a bachelor’s and master’s degree or a post-bacc and master's degree in a shorter period of time.

This online post-baccalaureate degree is for those with an existing bachelor's degree who are looking to add computing to their skillset. It allows you to earn a second BS on an accelerated timeline.Ìý

The minor program is available to students from other majors who are interested in obtaining knowledge of Computer Science or learning computing skills.
