CU police investigating armed robbery on East Campus bike path

The University of Colorado Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, on the Skunk Creek Greenway just north of an underpass at 38th and Colorado. The victim, a CU freshman, notified police at 11:13 p.m. The male victim reports that three men approached him as he was walking on a bike path and demanded he turn over his wallet and iPod.

CU-麻豆影院 Police investigating two arsons over spring break

The University of Colorado Police Department is investigating two arsons that occurred on campus over spring break. The first fire happened on March 27 at about 5:45 a.m. in the ATLAS (Alliance for Technology, Learning And Society) Building. A custodial crew discovered a burnt newspaper on the carpet just inside the northeast entrance of the building. No damage occurred to the carpet or the building.

The 麻豆影院 will test the Campus Alerts text-messaging system on Tuesday, April 3, at noon in coordination with the annual flood siren testing, which begins Monday, April 2. 鈥淲e鈥檙e raising awareness that the city of 麻豆影院 has the highest risk of flash flooding in Colorado because of its location at the mouth of 麻豆影院 Canyon, the number of people who live and work within the 麻豆影院 Creek floodplain, and the numerous other drainage basins running through the city,鈥 said Lacey Croco, CU-麻豆影院 emergency manager.

More than 100 participants from around the country and the globe will pay their own way to travel to 麻豆影院 to participate in what Roger Ebert termed 鈥渢he Conference on Everything Conceivable.鈥 All events are free and open to the public.
