The Â鶹ӰԺ enrolled more international students during the 2011-12 academic year and sent more students abroad during the 2010-11 academic year than any other higher education institution in Colorado. The data, released today by the Institute of International Education in its annual Open Doors Report, shows that CU-Â鶹ӰԺ was home to 1,681 international students during the 2011-12 school year. CU-Â鶹ӰԺ sent 1,316 students overseas during the 2010-11 school year.

The Â鶹ӰԺ will honor the nation’s veterans, including CU-Â鶹ӰԺ’s own faculty, staff and student veterans, through Veterans Week, beginning with a Nov. 9 Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. in the University Memorial Center’s Glenn Miller Ballroom. The free, public ceremony will feature guest speaker Michael Dakduk, executive director of the national organization Student Veterans of America. A reception will follow in the UMC Veterans Lounge.
