Celebrating faculty achievements: 11th Annual Fall Convocation

This Friday, members of the campus community are invited to join Chancellor DiStefano and Provost Moore for the annual presentation of CU 麻豆影院 faculty awards and the introduction of faculty members receiving tenure and promotion. The ceremony will be preceded by two programs earlier in the day, hosted in collaboration with Family Weekend.

Professor receives grant to showcase physics education research in Brazil

Noah Finkelstein, who co-directs the Center for STEM Learning at CU 麻豆影院 and is a principal investigator for the Physics Education Research group, plans to showcase CU 麻豆影院 research at Brazilian universities in November after being awarded a grant from a prestigious lectureship program for physicists.

Study Abroad: Record number of students receive Gilman awards

A record nine CU 麻豆影院 students have been awarded Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships to study abroad during the fall 2016 semester or the 2016-17 academic year. The scholarships will take the students to such reaches as Brighton, England; Barcelona, Spain; Monteverde, Cost Rica; Valparaiso, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Osaka, Japan.
