SLHS Department Recognition Ceremony - Spring 2024

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences graduation ceremony celebrates the聽graduation of bachelor's students, master's students, and doctoral students. Graduates will be recognized individually by name and take the traditional walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover.聽

Ceremony Details

Date: Thursday May 9, 2024Location of the large and small tents on Benson Lawn. Large tent is off Libby Dr. to the right of the Benson Earth Sciences Building and the small tent is on the left of the large tent, in front of the Benson Earth Sciences Building.

Times (MDT):

  • 4:00 pm Undergraduate Ceremony
  • 5:00 pm Undergraduate Reception
  • 5:30 pm Graduate Ceremony
  • 6:30 pm Graduate Reception

Location: Benson Lawn Tent
(in front of the Benson Earth Sciences Building, which is between the Duane Physics and the Mathematics building)

The commencement ceremonies will be held in the larger tent, and the reception will follow, with refreshments under the smaller tent.

RSVP: Graduates are required to RSVP by April 20, via a link sent by email to them.聽Tickets are NOT required for this event.聽

Dress

Degree candidates are required to wear a聽cap and gown. Information about purchasing academic regalia may be found at the聽.

Parking

Parking is free on campus during recognition ceremonies.聽 Please check Parking and Transportation for maps and more info.
