Master Agreements

Master鈥疉greements may be developed for either research or services in which a sponsor expects to fund multiple projects or scope of works (SOW) with CU 麻豆影院 over an extended period of time. These agreements contain agreed-upon terms and conditions of a basic contractual relationship between CU 麻豆影院 and a sponsor. Master Agreements are intended to result in increased efficiency in proposal processing, project award, negotiation, and post-award administration for departments and institutes.

Once a鈥疢aster Agreement is in place, an addendum or task order is created for each new project or SOW to be awarded under the Master Agreement. An addendum or task order frequently contains the following for each specific project:

  • SOW to be conducted and associated budget
  • Payment obligations and timing
  • Management of the project
  • Staffing of the project
  • Schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Co-funding information (if any)
  • Background intellectual property information (if any)
  • Licensing options and considerations
