CU Â鶹ӰԺ enters into many types of agreements with sponsors, including the federal government, foundations, other universities, and industry. These relationships are governed by agreements between CU Â鶹ӰԺ and the sponsor which define each party’s rights and obligations in the relationship.

Many types of agreements received by CU Â鶹ӰԺ, but not all, are accepted under the authority of the Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG). These agreements, including incoming subcontracts, usually require negotiation between CU Â鶹ӰԺ and the sponsor and always require OCG's approval/signature.
