Indemnification
The State of Colorado authorized specific entities within the state to accept indemnification. The Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) at the Â鶹ӰԺ is not authorized to provide indemnity on awards that are accepted under OCG’s authority.
CU Â鶹ӰԺ is a nonprofit, public, and governmental institution of higher education with a primary focus on academics and research. CU Â鶹ӰԺ cannot cover a sponsor’s loss. CU Â鶹ӰԺ shall be responsible for its ownnegligent acts or omissions as covered under CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s self-insurance policy.
