President Trump issued a聽presidential proclamation聽on June 22 instituting a visa and entry restriction on the issuance of new nonimmigrant visas 鈥 H-1B, H-2B, L, J (only intern, trainee, teacher, camp counselor, au pair, and summer work travel categories, not research scholar, professor, student, student intern, and short-term scholar categories).
