Anonymous questions in the Workshop Slack workspace
In most cases, when using the , your name will associated with any comments that you make.
Posting anonymously is simple, but takes a bit of extra effort.
- It does not matter what channel you start in
- In the text entry box at the bottom of the page, type /anon
- When / is typed, a menu will appear
- Continue typing anon and it will take you to the AnonimityBot menu
- At this point there are two ways to proceed, it does not matter which you choose
- The 鈥/anon鈥 method
- Press space after /anon and the menu will disappear, and you will have an 鈥/anon 鈥 in the text field
- Type your question after 鈥/anon 鈥
- Press Enter or click the 鈥淪end鈥 arrow
- A dialog box will appear that contains your message
- Click on the 鈥淪elect a channel or type it鈥檚 name鈥 drop down
- Select the 鈥#anonymous-question-box鈥 channel
- Click 鈥淐ontinue鈥 to post your question
- The 鈥淧ost anonymously with AnonimityBot鈥 method
- Click on the 鈥淧ost anonymously with AnonimityBot鈥 menu entry
- A dialog box will appear
- Type your message into the 鈥淢essage鈥 field
- Click on the 鈥淪elect a channel or type it鈥檚 name鈥 drop down
- Select the 鈥#anonymous-question-box鈥 channel
- Click 鈥淐ontinue鈥 to post your question
