Merinda McLure is Faculty Director in the Office of Faculty Affairs with responsibility for academic leadership development. Through our office’s different academic leadership development programs, Merinda develops a strategic leadership pipeline on campus by training and cultivating the knowledge, skills, and competencies that faculty leaders and academic administrators need to be effective in their roles.ÌýÌý
Merinda serves as the subject specialist and liaison librarian for the departments of psychology and neuroscience; integrative physiology; and speech, language, and hearing sciences. She is one of the Libraries’ . Merinda joined the University Libraries in 2017 and has previously worked at Colorado State University, the University of Montana, and the University of Alberta, since completing her Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) at the University of British Columbia in 2002. Merinda is originally from the beautiful Kootenay region of British Columbia and is now a dual American and Canadian citizen. She loves to travel, paddle board, swim in any enticing body of water, grow flowers, cross-country ski, and follow her curiosity to explore new interests.ÌýÌý
