Provost's Post, October 2023
The Provost’s Post is on your doorstep!
Welcome, everyone, to the Provost’s Post, the official newsletter of the Division of Academic Affairs that’s focused on academic issues impacting faculty and staff.
The Provost’s Post:
- Keeps faculty and staff apprised of major policy decisions, programmatic developments, budget and resource issues, and professional achievements of our faculty and staff.
- Publishes each month during the academic year, with a few exceptions, and once during the summer.
Take a look at my priorities for this year here, which I’ve been sharing during my fall open forums.
Thanks for all you do to support students, faculty and the academic mission at CU Â鶹ӰԺ.

Perspectives
Dean and vice provost of undergraduate education committed to student success and education equity
As dean of undergraduate education, I help CU Â鶹ӰԺ think holistically and strategically about the undergraduate student experience across the entire university. Within that context, I see my role as having three parts, all of which serve students.
Faculty Affairs focused on fostering a stronger faculty community
The Office of Faculty Affairs continues to enhance faculty development offerings this year with a special focus on building community among various faculty populations within the university. From writing circles to women+ faculty socials, there’s something for everyone to engage in.
