Because of the changes in the layout systems used in the old and new versions of Web Express, layouts that have blocks placed in some regions will not be able to properly migrate. 聽The content blocks, such as text blocks, hero blocks, and calendar blocks will all be migrated but the page will need to be reassembled after the site has been migrated.

While sections with columns can be migrated to the new version of Web Express, the new layout sections cannot contain blocks that span columns.

In this example, There is a text block followed by a block row that contains two columns.

In the migration process this would be split into two unique sections, but might have some display issues that would need to be addressed.

Some Block Titles Won't Migrate

Because the new layout sections and layout columns are no longer blocks, they won't have titles.

If you've used the title fields on layout blocks (Block Sections and Block Rows for example), the titles will not appear after a site has been migrated.
