- The AB Nexus program announced its 2024 seed grant awards to interdisciplinary research teams from the Â鶹ӰԺ and Anschutz campuses. Collectively, the winning teams will receive $713,000 in funding to advance cutting-edge research that improves human health and well-being.
- Chancellor Justin Schwartz has announced several actions to further establish CU Â鶹ӰԺ as a global leader in sustainability. The university will partner with Pivot Energy to add 5 megawatts of solar energy to the local grid and is committing tax credit savings to campus decarbonization efforts.
- CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s Conference Services is set to accommodate the National Order of the Arrow for six days starting July 29. The large-scale event will fill 6,000 campus beds, 500 local hotel rooms and 170 campus event spaces.
- Uniformed CU Â鶹ӰԺ police officers and residential service officers are now allowed to wear cowboy hats. The Stetson style, which is optional, offers extra protection from the elements.
- Through Aug. 1, the CU Board of Regents is accepting nominations for the 2025 honorary degrees, university medals and distinguished service awards.
