'Boy Meets Girl Meets Shakespeare' To Be At Eaton High School On Feb. 29

What do a magician, star-crossed lovers, a ghost, three witches and a gossiping wife have in common? Shakespeare, of course, and the performance of, "Boy Meets Girl Meets Shakespeare." The show will be performed at Eaton High School for students and faculty at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 29, incorporating scenes from "The Tempest," "Romeo and Juliet," "Hamlet," "Macbeth" and "Taming of the Shrew."

International Women's Week 2000 To Be Held March 5-10 At CU-Â鶹ӰԺ

The International WomenÂ’s Alliance at the University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ will hold its 25th annual International WomenÂ’s Week March 5-10. This yearÂ’s theme is "The Political Economy of Violence: Women of Color Resisting Militarization, State Terror, and Violence in Our Lives." Questions and issues on unemployment, increases in the military and prison budgets and racism and sexism in health care will be addressed through a series of workshops, films, lectures, theater performances and art exhibits.

Program On Chaco, Mesa Verde To Be Held At CU-Â鶹ӰԺ Feb. 26

A unique program featuring historians, authors, artists, poets, archaeologists and photographers will be held at the University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ on Feb. 26 to probe the meanings of Native American prehistory to different groups of Americans. Titled "Chaco, Mesa Verde and the Confrontation with Time," the panel discussion will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Old Main Chapel on campus. Co-sponsored by CU-Â鶹ӰԺ’s Center of the American West, the CU Museum and the National Park Service, the program is free and open to the public.

Alumni Couple Bolster CU-Â鶹ӰԺ's Entrepreneurship Program With A Half Million Dollar Professorship

Citing their belief that "the future of business in the ‘new economyÂ’ is in entrepreneurship and e-commerce," Bob and Beverly Deming have backed up that sentiment with a $500,000 gift to endow an entrepreneurship professorship at CU-Â鶹ӰԺ’s College of Business and Administration. The gift is in addition to the DemingÂ’s gift two years ago of $3 million to the burgeoning Entrepreneurship Center, which now bears the Deming name.

CU Real Estate Conference Addresses Smart Growth And Capital Markets
