Tenth annual TRANSforming Gender Conference begins March 10

CU-Â鶹ӰԺ’s TRANSforming Gender Conference is celebrating its tenth year. The Conference hosts national and local transgender, genderqueer, intersex, Two-Spirit activists and scholars to raise awareness of how we can celebrate the diversity of gender and sex.

Drug Take-Back Day, March 9

Reduce the risk of accidental exposure, drug misuse, and environmental contamination by participating in Drug Take-Back Day. Turn in unused or expired medication for safe disposal on Wednesday, March 9, at the Drug Take-Back Event hosted by Community Health, a division of Wardenburg Health Services and the CU Police Department.

Dalai Lama reschedules visit to CU-Â鶹ӰԺ for June 23

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will visit the Â鶹ӰԺ June 23 after health issues derailed a previous visit scheduled last October, CU-Â鶹ӰԺ student and local Tibetan leaders announced today. Tickets are not yet available for sale. Details will be announced in coming months on this University of Colorado event website.

You may be aware that we had an incident of hateful speech posted as graffiti in a campus bathroom yesterday. Regardless of who wrote these hateful words on the walls of a bathroom stall, we find speech like this reprehensible and demeaning to all members of our community and we completely reject it.

CU-Â鶹ӰԺ Provost Russell L. Moore today announced four finalists for the position of dean of Colorado Law. They are S. James Anaya, Mary Anne Bobinski, Laura E. Gómez and Angela Onwuachi-Willig. Public sessions with each of the candidates will be held on campus Feb. 29 through March 16.
