New service provides support for Universal Instructional Design

OIT’s new Universal Instructional Design service provides support in accessible authoring of public-facing content and best practices in course design. Workshops are being offered over the next few days to help instructors incorporate universal design in practice and author accessible documents, presentations, websites, D2L courses, PDFs and other media.

First Folio, the original compilation of Shakespeare’s 36 plays, is on display at the Â鶹ӰԺ’s First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare exhibition from Aug. 9-31. This unique viewing opportunity commemorates this year’s 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. The First Folio! exhibition at the CU Art Museum is open to the public and free of charge, yet reservations are strongly encouraged and can be scheduled through Brown Paper Tickets.

Â鶹ӰԺ resident Michelle Maloy Dillon attended CU Â鶹ӰԺ in the mid 1980s, moving from New York to live in Baker Hall where she established lifelong friendships over pizza and textbooks. Now, 30 years later, Cooper Dillon is calling Baker Hall "home" for his first year at CU, too.

The annual fall used bike sale, hosted by the CU Environmental Center, will be held on Aug. 30,4 p.m. at Folsom Field Plaza by the Ralphie Statue. Sales are cash only and bikes are priced at either $100, $160, or auctioned depending on the quality.
