Diverse Learners Awareness Week is a time for all to embrace the classroom as an inclusive, diverse space and celebrate the unique ways we each learn and play. Here are just a few of reasons you can’t afford to miss it.

Board of Regents hears from students and faculty on DACA, immigration; reviews budget proposal; approves master's in higher education

During the February 2017 meeting at the Â鶹ӰԺ campus, the University of Colorado Board of Regents heard from students and faculty regarding DACA, immigration and other issues. The board also heard a 2017-18 budget proposal, which proposes a merit pool increase, and approved a new MA degree in higher education.

U.S. Anti-Doping Agency CEO Tygart to deliver public lecture Feb. 21

The Sports Governance Center will host Travis Tygart, CEO of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency as this year's Distinguished Lecturer. Tygart will speak next Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in the third floor auditorium of the CU Athletic Department Champions Center. He has been recognized by Sports Illustrated as one of "The Most 50 Powerful People in Sports," and in 2013 was named to the "Time 100" list of most influential people in the world. The lecture is open to the public and there is no admission fee.
