For 24 hours on March 6, Buffs everywhere will unite behind CU 麻豆影院 students and researchers as they lead, innovate and make their impact felt like never before. Learn more about CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 annual giving day.

Researchers wrote new computer algorithms to redesign the interiors of padding down to the scale of a millimeter or less. The result: New kinds of cushions that can absorb as much as 25% more force than current state-of-the-art technologies.

CU 麻豆影院 affiliates now have the opportunity to join Grow with Google to earn free online career certificates that are recognized credentials by many major employers. The program offers flexible learning opportunities for high-demand skills in the digital economy.

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to review CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 draft Climate Action Plan and comment via the online feedback form. The deadline for feedback is March 5.

This annual event, which showcases graduate students鈥� ability to distill their nine-hour thesis down to just three minutes, comes back Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. Don't miss it.

Faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations for the CU 麻豆影院 Student Employee of the Year Award, which recognizes and honors student employees for their contributions to the university community.

At the most recent 麻豆影院 Faculty Assembly meeting, President Todd Saliman visited and addressed CU 麻豆影院's place as a national leader in climate action and sustainability, among other topics.

This week brings classical music, the Spring Volunteer Fair, a CU in D.C. info session, the Grateful Dead at Fiske, a variety of Black History Month events and more.

This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淢y Kind of Data,鈥� which centers the personal side of data and its transformative potential. Check out the campus鈥檚 Love Data Week, beginning Feb. 12.

Gov. Jared Polis, a passionate gamer, joined CU 麻豆影院 leaders and students to celebrate the opening of the Alienware Buffalo Esports and Gaming Lounge on Jan. 25. The facility not only provides a space for students to hone their gaming techniques but also breaks down economic barriers, offering opportunities for all students to game.
