The Division of Student Affairs works to enhance students’ experiences and help them connect what they are learning in class to life outside the classroom. Part of supporting students is empowering faculty and staff with resources to promote well-being, growth and opportunity.

In February, a lander named Odysseus designed by the company Intuitive Machines is scheduled to touch down on the moon, returning U.S. science to the lunar surface for the first time in more than 50 years. Astrophysicists from CU Â鶹ӰԺ will be along for the ride.

This six-week group will be a space to practice sitting meditation in community. Each session will include a 30-minute meditation followed by a 30-minute discussion. Mindfulness meditation instructions will be provided. All experience levels are welcome.

Grants from the Sloan Foundation and the National Science Foundation will improve equity and community across the graduate student experience.

CU Â鶹ӰԺ has launched the CU Â鶹ӰԺ Online website, designed to provide users with a learner-focused digital gateway to access online educational opportunities offered by the campus.

Renovations to the Physics Help Room were recently completed, providing a revamped space for students to work together, study and get help with physics courses.

An inaugural celebration honored cross-campus faculty recipients of the prestigious Fulbright award and highlighted CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s support for those unique and diverse experiences.

In honor of Black History Month, join a screening of This is [Not] Who We Are, which explores the gap between Â鶹ӰԺ’s self-image and the more complex lived experiences—both historical and contemporary—of its Black citizens. The event is a partnership with Colorado Law, the Black Law Students Association, the CAAAS and the Leeds School of Business.

The University Libraries have created a resource guide to help explore and honor the diverse history, culture and achievements of African Americans in the United States. Also, check out a related opening reception at the CU Art Museum on Feb. 9.

Invited by the Cultural Events Board, Linda Sarsour will give a talk on campus focusing on difficult discussions and how they can empower people with the tools and perspectives necessary to engage through a culture of humanity and understanding.
