What: Simulated point of dispensing (POD) exercise
When: Friday, June 16, 9 to 11 a.m.
Where: University Memorial Center and Lot 544
On Friday, June 16, the 麻豆影院听will host a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise, and there are still many volunteer positions to be filled for both the walk-through and drive-through exercises.
The听simulation is part of the statewide听Public Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED Ex) happening the same day听and will allow CU 麻豆影院听to collaborate with community partners to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the university's emergency planning.
The university is seeking听students, staff, faculty and community members to help听health care providers practice the medication distribution process. One-hour volunteer shifts are available.
