What: Simulated point of dispensing (POD) exercise
When: Friday, June 16, 9 to 11 a.m.
Where: University Memorial Center and Lot 544
In the event听of a large-scale public health emergency, the 麻豆影院, in collaboration with 麻豆影院 County Public Health, would distribute medication to the campus community. Help health care providers practice this process by joining the simulated point of dispensing (POD) exercise on Friday, June 16.
This emergency preparedness simulation is part of the statewide听Public Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED Ex) happening the same day听and will allow CU 麻豆影院听to collaborate with community partners to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the university's emergency planning.
Students, staff, faculty and community members are encouraged to participate in this exercise. Volunteers will select one of two shifts and a location (the walk-up location at听the University Memorial Center or the drive-through location at听Lot 544 on East Campus). Refreshments will be provided.听
