Refunds

Refunds can result from getting financial aid, dropping classes, or other adjustments to your account. Visit the Bursar鈥檚 Office website for specific information about where and when refunds are deposited. Always check with your bank to confirm the deposited funds are available before spending your refund.

If you adjust your schedule (add classes, enroll in a waitlisted class, or receive a financial aid adjustment) after receiving a refund, you may receive an additional bill for tuition and fees. If you qualify for a refund after withdrawing from CU 麻豆影院 (including during an undergraduate leave of absence), the refund will apply to any outstanding charges on your bill first. Any remaining amount will be deposited into your bank account or mailed to you (less any outstanding charges) approximately four weeks after you withdraw.

If you receive a financial aid refund at the beginning of the semester, those funds will be deposited into your bank account approximately seven days prior to the first day of classes, provided you have set up direct deposit and financial aid processing is complete. See the refund schedules for more information.

Direct Deposit for Refunds

For fast access to your refund, set up direct deposit in Buff Portal. This is a separate process from direct deposit for your paycheck if you are a CU 麻豆影院 employee. Your refund will be electronically deposited into your designated bank account.
