Work Policy

Student employees working for CU are limited to a maximum of 25 hours per week, or 50 hours per bi-weekly pay period, during the fall and spring semesters and to 40 hours per week (or 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period) during the summer. Learn more about the policy.

Posting a job & hiring student employees

Review the post a job page for instructions to create an employer account and start hiring CU 麻豆影院 students. This is the first step to posting your on-campus, off-campus and work-study positions on Handshake.

As a reminder, CU 麻豆影院 Student Jobs has been deactivated effective July 1, 2024, and Handshake is now the sole place for all on and off-campus student jobs.

Payroll Expense Transfer

If the employer was charged 100% and needs were transferred to work-study, please submit the Late Pay/Hourly to Work-Study Transfer form. If work-study was charged to the wrong speedtype or you need to move earnings to a different speedtype, please complete the Suspense/Employer Charges to Work-Study Transfer form. View forms page.
