- We mourn the lives lost from our community on March 22nd. The impacts of this violence extend beyond those who lost their lives that day. All of us in the CU, 麻豆影院, and greater Front Range communities have been affected. We are each still grieving. Our community is still grieving. It鈥檚 going to take a long time to work through this grief. You matter on this campus; in a time when it feels challenging to take a break away from your day-to-day responsibilities, this is a reminder we have resources and a community of staff to support you at any time.
- On May 6th, at 6:00 p.m., Staff Council will host adventurer Scott Robinson for a travelogue of his 2019 five-month expedition down the Missouri River from Three Forks, Montana to St. Louis, Missouri. Scott will share photos and stories of this epic 2,341 mile journey. Follow the footsteps of Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery with the Corps of Rediscovery.
- On April 13th at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. OR 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. join LinkedIn and Employee Services for Rock Your Profile, an interactive learning experience that will give you tips and insights to make your LinkedIn profile stand out.
- CU 麻豆影院 Staff Council is excited to offer a new campus-wide Staff Recognition Program that the entire CU community can participate in. The nomination form is simple, and a way to recognize a staff member for going above and beyond, besides a usual 鈥淭hank You鈥 email.
- Staff are invited to join local freelance artist Miranda Thomas on Tuesday, April 6th at 7 p.m. for a Staff Council sponsored painting workshop. Attendees will be guided step-by-step as they create their very own original Colorado nature scene.
- A large team of scientists from departments across campus鈥 are studying how the SARS-CoV-2 virus is changing over time as it moves through our campus population. The CU Pandemic Study is enrolling people who are using the campus saliva testing sites, or plan to use them at some point in the future.
- As we continue to push forward in our transparency and open conversation, we want to bring to light the following individuals who have transitioned to new officer roles to support Staff Council initiatives for the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year.
- 麻豆影院 Campus Staff Council elections are officially in progress! Every spring you have the opportunity to elect CU 麻豆影院 staff members interested in representing your voice. Voting for Staff Council is one way to ensure you are well-represented.
- During the month of March, CU 麻豆影院 Staff Council is proud to partner with Runners Roost to support three worthy causes to bring shoes, coats and food to people in need. And when you donate, you will receive a 15% discount on your in-store purchase.
- CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 Farm Manager, Alex Macmillan is here to help get you started on your own garden! As we start moving toward spring weather, Staff Council Outreach & Events and Alex will host two sessions to help you plan and create your dream home-garden this year.
