CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s Farm Manager, Alex Macmillan is here to help get you started on your own garden! As we start moving toward spring weather, Staff Council Outreach & Events and Alex will host two sessions to help you plan and create your dream home-garden this year.

Thursday, March 18, 1:00 p.m. - Planting the seeds for a successful 2021 garden

Join Alex as he shows you how to set your garden up for success in 2021. Learn more about starting your crops from seed, garden prep and design, soil selections, as well as new varieties for your garden. Bring your questions to ask our resident plant-professional as you prepare your garden for 2021.

Thursday, April 15th, 1:00 p.m. - Master your Garden

Join Alex as he shares his expertise on how to prepare your seedlings for a successful planting in the garden. Learn more about plant nutrition, watering schedules and techniques, how to deal with common pests and more. This talk is focused on techniques and methods to help you grow your garden to its full potential. Bring your questions to ask our resident plant-professional as you prepare to plant your 2021 garden.
