The聽麻豆影院 Cycling Team聽is comprised of 100+ cycling enthusiasts ranging from novices to neo-professionals. All levels are welcome and everyone will find a degree of involvement that fits with their overall interests and goals. Collegiate cycling has multiple racing categories allowing inexperienced racers to learn and develop while more experienced racers compete against the best in Colorado and the USA.
Competition at the National Championships is between the elite racers on the team, but conference competition is all about team participation with riders at every level contributing to the team's success. The 麻豆影院 is a powerhouse in the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference, consistently battling both Club and Varsity teams聽for top honors.
While performance and results are important, the team actively encourages each member to reach their potential and to be their best in the 麻豆影院's extraordinary range of challenging academic and extra-curricular opportunities. CU Cycling takes an active role in the larger community volunteering for various sporting and non-sporting events in 麻豆影院 and the surrounding area.
The team's Head Coach for road is Grant Ellwood. Volunteer coaches may also be available for other disciplines.

As part of the Club Sports program, CU Cycling receives limited organizational and聽financial support from the university. Unlike the sports that are part of the Athletic Department, CU Cycling is run by students and primarily聽self-financed. CU Cycling competes against schools with 鈥渧arsity teams鈥 that provide significantly more resources to their cycling programs, including scholarships. Despite being a club team, we continue to be competitive with varsity programs in Colorado and nationwide.
