Patty Walton, M.A., CCC-SLP, BCS-F, received her Master鈥檚 degree from the University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 in 1985, and is a Board Certified Specialist in Fluency Disorders. During her time as a student at CU 麻豆影院, Patty trained under Dr. Peter Ramig, who was instrumental in changing the trajectory of her career to working exclusively with people who stutter. She opened her private practice, the Center for Stuttering Therapy (Denver) in 1992, where she has focused her full -time clinical work in the diagnosis and treatment of stuttering in children and adults. 聽Patty is adjunct faculty at the University of Northern Colorado where she teaches the on- campus and online graduate classes in Fluency Disorders and provides clinical education for students working with clients who stutter. She is also a clinical educator at the University of Colorado at 麻豆影院, where she provides clinical education for diagnostic practicums in fluency.
