Recognizing that the university has a large impact on theÌýgreater Â鶹ӰԺ community, Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution (SCCR) strives to be impactful partners by educatingÌýthe community on what we do and supporting positive neighbor-to-student relationships.

Student Conduct in the Community

The Student Code of Conduct outlines the policies and values that make us Buffs on and off campus. The goal is toÌýhelp students:

  • Understand the impact of their behavior.
  • Repair harm and make positive choices in the future.
  • Contribute positively to the CU Â鶹ӰԺ community and beyond.

Conflict Resolution

Healthy conflict can result in growth,Ìýlearning and understanding. Conflict resolution is not just for student-to-student relationships. SCCR conflict support can:

  • Mediate neighbor-to-neighbor interactions.
  • HelpÌýresidents and students developÌýpositive relationships.
  • Encourage the Â鶹ӰԺ community and students to have respectful dialogue with one another.

Restorative Justice

Participate in Restorative Justice volunteer opportunities. Restorative Justice helps to address the relationship between victims, offendersÌýand the community in a way that repairs the impact, holds the offender accountable and builds community.Ìý

If you experienced an incident where a student was violating Â鶹ӰԺ ordinances, report the situation to the University of Colorado Police Department (CUPD) if it occured on campus or the if it occured off campus. The student may be referred to SCCR if they are suspected of violating the Student Code of Conduct.
