Elevate your fall fellowship proposal through RIO's Writing & Peer Editing Program, starting July 16
The Research and Innovation Office (RIO) announces the launch of the fourth annual Fall Fellowships Writing & Peer Editing Program: ACLS, NHC, Fulbright and More, facilitated by RIO Proposal Writer/Editor Donna Axel. Faculty are encouraged to attend a brief 30-minute kickoffÌýon Tuesday, July 16 at either 10 a.m. or 4 p.m. to determine if the program is right for them.Ìý
The virtual program is designed to assist faculty in submitting a proposal to one of the many fellowships with a fall deadline—including the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), National Humanities Center (NHC), Stanford (SHC), Guggenheim, Fulbright and more. In the process, participants will also learn how to reuse, repurpose and recycle proposals at a later date or for other opportunities.Ìý
From July through September, program participants will draft proposals and participate in a peer editing workshop to hone the narrative portion of fellowship applications typically due in September and November.
