Research involving animals is聽carried out in new, state-of-the-art housing and laboratory research rooms in the Life Sciences Animal Research Building. Our facilities support all modern neuroscience techniques, ranging from advanced imaging to molecular detection. The facility has specialized rooms聽dedicated to sophisticated behavioral testing of animals.
Within the department,聽we support the use of computers for the running of a wide range of psychological experiments and the collecting of data in real-time. Central to this endeavor is our Computer Laboratory for Instruction in Psychological Research (CLIPR), whose goal is to provide support and training in the use of computers for running experiments, analyzing data, and teaching classes. We maintain a couple of聽computer laboratories for use in both teaching and in running experiments by faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. CLIPR has a full-time professional staff to offer help and advice.聽
In addition to our in-house facilities, the CU 麻豆影院's聽 provides a range of large-scale facilities including the 184 TFLOPS聽Janus Supercomputer, storage of research data, high-speed data transfer capabilities and support for data sharing (). These facilities are available to all researchers on campus.
