Congratulations once again on earning a spot in the Presidents Leadership Class.Ìý You are entering into a very special community that is here to support you through your career at the Â鶹ӰԺ and beyond. You have committed to becoming a better leader, a better student, and a better citizen in your community through the curriculum and programming offered by the Presidents Leadership Class.

Over the next four years, you will take five PLC courses and one capstone course (if you choose) culminating in a Leadership Studies Minor, undertake and participate in one Applied Leadership Experience coupled with the ALE Course (PRLC 2930-801), attend and participate in two Deep Dive trips, serve your community with over 40 hours of service work, and grow through your participation many community events.

However, before you get started on this journey, you need to be ready for the very first day!

First, please fill out the following form ASAP : New PLCer Contact Information

Additionally, you will soon be registering for classes with an advisor. Neither you nor your advisor can register you for PRLC 1810. The PLC Assistant Director will do that this summer. Please leave the following windows of time open in your schedule so you can attend your PLC lecture and recitation:

  • PRLC 1810/1820 Lectures: Monday/Wednesday: 5:05-6:20PM - lecture and recitation is required

  • Recitations: Thursday: 3:30-7:00 pm - try to leave the entire span open so you can be placed in either the earlier (3:30-5:30) or later (5:00-7:00) recitation without time conflicts.

  • Below, you will find documents that explain details about important dates, events, and starting the PLC program. Please keep track of the link to this page and share it with your parents/guardians.Ìý If you have any questions, please feel free to email me - jessie.kasynski@colorado.edu.Ìý
  • Please remember that you, nor your CU advisor, can enroll you in PRLC 1810. Keep an eye out for many emails this summer from me, JulieMarie Shepherd Macklin, Jason Hanson or the plc-24 group list.Ìý We have a lot of information to pass along and we don’t want you to miss anything!  Start checking your @colorado.edu email address at least once a day this summer.
