This project focuses on the development of two devices for the Sandia National Laboratories鈥� Senior Design Bonanza: a Launch Prevention Device (LPD) and a Payload Protection Device (PPD). The LPD functions to mechanically initiate the launch of a model rocket following the input of a five character signal. The PPD functions to record inflight system dynamics and ensure the survival of that data.
