Children's Hospital Colorado is partnering with Design Center Colorado with the focus of Surgical Innovation Leading to Commercialization (SILC).
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a medical condition where a collapse of the upper airway occurs during sleep in people of all ages. Current diagnosis methods are ineffective in simulating natural sleep to capture the location and pattern of obstructions. The goal of Team 3鈥檚 project is to develop a new method to measure sites and severity of the airway obstruction occurring during natural sleep.
