Project sponsorship is a great way to build prototypes, explore new concepts and develop ancillary ideas while getting to know a team of soon-to-be professional engineers. YouÌýas the clientÌýwill retain any IP generated throughout the course of the project. Sponsorship includes financial support and mentorship of a team of 5-7 students for a project cycle that lasts from August to May.Ìý
Careers in ME Symposium - September, February
This event focuses on introducing second-year students toÌýcareer opportunities available to mechanical engineering graduates.ÌýIndustry guests give talks and sit on panels, share their career journeys and insightsÌýand give advice to current students. Host practice job interviews for second-year students enrolled in MCEN 2000: Mechanical Engineering as a Profession. You can participate in as many or as few interviews as your schedule allows, and interviews can even be conducted over the phone or video chat if you are unable to meet in person. Judge Projects at the CU Engineering Projects Expo - April
The CU Engineering Projects Expo takes place in April each year. At the event, seniors and graduate students in Capstone Design demonstrate their projects.
