Internship Job Description:
Part-time Intern needed for a local, high growth, dynamic, and energetic oil and gas firm specializing in mineral acquisitions.
Looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, and organized person, with a strong ability to multi task. A can-do attitude is a must, along with the ability to learn quickly, and adapt to a demanding and changing work environment. Ideal candidate will fulfill this position for a minimum of 90 days with a commitment of 16-24 hours per week.

Duties include, but not limited to:
- Compose and distribute correspondence including, but not limited to abstracts, letters, memos, etc.
- Conduct industry/company research and compile summary reports as well as upload data from web based sites.
- Help in the production of in-house mailers and various marketing collateral with an emphasis on utilizing Microsoft Word mail merge.
- Determine mineral ownership by performing chain of title research.
- Independently develop and execute projects aimed at improving business processes.
- Contribute to team effort by performing related administrative functions upon request.
Position requirements:
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn technology platforms to support various forms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Understanding and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail, ability to interact effectively with people.
