- One of our undergraduate students, Katherine Feldmann, has decided to complete a Master of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in addition to her bachelor's degree. The concurrent program enables students to complete both degrees in five years

- DNA extractions from the 2018 field season are done! Katherine F. and Kathryn G. tackled DNA extractions for all chickadees from the 2018 field season. These samples will be included in a larger population genomics sampling project.
- We put up 100 nest boxes at the MRS! Thanks to the Taylor lab and additional EBIO helpers we had 14 pairs of hands on deck! Boxes were put up at elevations as high as 11000' despite a snow-covered road. These will be incorporated into The 麻豆影院

- Angela and Kathryn mentored two high school students over the summer from Lafayette, Alex and Kay, through CU Science Discovery (see photo at right)鈥攁 rewarding experience that immersed youth from throughout Colorado in their own
- Dom presented a poster titled 鈥淎 higher resolution examination of climate-mediated hybrid zone movement鈥 at IOC 2018, which supported the findings of previous studies of lower resolution of the hybrid zone movement and found that several gene groups
