Diversity in STEM
The Taylor Lab is respectful and inclusive.
The lack of diversity in STEM is an important issue and one that our lab wants to help the ecology and evolutionary biology community address. It is our responsibility to educate ourselves about diversity issues in STEM, and to learn how best to combat bias and prejudice and to promote social equality. A growing list of resources concerning diversity issues in STEM can be found below.
The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at CU 麻豆影院 has a website with resources and information, as well as updates on recent departmental diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Many of these efforts are lead by members who participate in our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in STEM Seminar. Graduate students can take this seminar for credit, but it is open to all faculty, students, and staff.
