I鈥檓 broadly interested in the interactions that hosts have with their parasites, particularly in the face of ongoing host hybridization. I look for a variety of different parasites in a variety of different hosts, such as, blood parasites in rosy finches and chickadees, or nematomorphs in field crickets. Along with identifying host-parasite interactions at the phenotypic level, I鈥檓 also going to be exploring both host and parasite genetic architectures. Lately, I鈥檝e been building a substantial number of nest boxes for chickadees in preparation for our upcoming field season!听
