Our department is a community, and we value all members of IBG having access to physical and mental health services which make them feel safe, secure, and welcome. We invite students and staff members to use and participate in the following services:

Family Services

Read about child care and family and/or parental leave services offered by or affiliated with the University of Colorado. Note the university-wide paid parental leave policy for faculty and staff effective July, 2018.

Wardenburg Health Center

Health and wellness services for students. The comprehensive CU Gold Health Insurance Plan covers many on-campus services such as medical care, nutrition services, physical therapy, counseling, and sexual & reproductive health. 

Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS)

Confidential, on-campus mental health and psychiatric services for a variety of concerns. Students who have paid the mental health fee and the student health fee are eligible for for a limited number of free visits in any CAPS location during the academic year. 

Office of Victim Assistance 

Consults with and provides support to students who have experienced a potentially traumatic or life-disruptive event.
